Jessica Loferski
Elected Parlimentarian
Kankakee Area Career Center (KACC) and Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School has great pride today for Jessica Loferski, who has been selected to serve as State Parliamentarian of Illinois SkillsUSA. Loferski, a senior at BBCHS, is also a founding officer for the KACC Chapter of SkillsUSA.
Loferski's accolades include two SkillsUSA conferences, a first place finish in State Competition and a top ten finish at Nationals with KACC's Entrepreneurial Team.
The reason I chose to run for state office is I believe in what SkillsUSA offers high school students and the enthusiasm and high energy I see from State and National Officers states Loferski.
At eighteen years young, Loferski has achieved a lot in the past two months, which have included heavy speech preparations and daily practice. Jessica will serve this position proudly and will carry out the functions of her office, unlike any other parliamentarian this state has ever seen says fellow chapter officer Adam Jensen. KACC's other Chapter officers are:
KACC Chapter Advisor and Computer Technology Instructor at KACC, Lucas Papineau commented We have a very talented group of students and are delighted to see one of our own be selected to serve at the state level. Jessica certainly deserves this honor.
