5th Annual KACC Memorial Golf Outing

Dedicated to the Memory of Bruce Spaulding and Michael Lawrence

Sunshine and smiling faces were abounding on Friday, June 20th as folks congregated at Oak Spring Golf Course for the 5th Annual KACC Memorial Outing benefiting the Spaulding-Lawrence Scholarship.

Following registration and lunch, golfers took to the course and proceeded to swing their way through 18 holes of hits - misses - jokes - laughs - and a few - "No way, did my ball just go into the water?"

The scores may have varied, but the generosity of our golfers to the scholarship fund was consistent. Golfers participated in a string game, Beat the Director Game, and various Par-3 challenges and raffles throughout the day.

Each year, KACC holds a special School Challenge between the various High Schools we serve. The school challenge requires 3 golfers of the foursome must be school employees. This year, the school challenge was won by St. Anne High School golfers Todd Sirois, Jeremy Heck, Rick Schoon and Tom Montemayer. Not only does this team walk away with the title, they are also now in possession of the traveling trophy, for the third year in a row! We hope they return next year as defending school champions.  In the meantime, the rest of us need to practice to give them more of a challenge next year!

Overall first place, with a low score of 48 was the team of Dale Hastings, Steve Totheroh, Nick Saerburn and David Caldwell. To entice them to return as defending champs, these gentleman will receive a discount on their entry fee next year! Way to go guys!
