KACC STUDENTS EXCEL

SkillsUSA National Competition!

Ten out of eleven KACC students finished in the top 6 nationally at the National SkillsUSA Competition in Kansas City, Missouri.  These students once again evidence the exceptional curriculum and training they receive at the Career Center.  This competition is the scholastic bowl or national finals, if you will, for those students involved in career and technical education.

Lucas Papineau, SkillsUSA Coordinator/Computer Tech II Instructor reported “all students were phenomenal the entire week, both personally and professionally. Sharon Barnard (SkillsUSA Coordinator/Cosmetology Manager) and I are very proud of this group.  They represented the Illinois Team as well as KACC with great confidence, skill level and professionalism.  We are extremely pleased with their performance.”
