Administrative Assistant Day at KACC
Dr. Kay Pangle had a great idea on how to give her support staff a real treat when she contacted Sharon Barnard, Cosmetology Program Manager at the Kankakee Area Career Center.
Dr. Pangle, along with Vicki Hensley and Greg Murphy, treated their support staff to an afternoon at the KACC School of Cosmetology Salon for a series of manicures, pedicures,and massages. They even set up a separate room where they could all have lunch together, most of which was prepared by the able culinary hands of Dr. Kay, Vicki and Greg.
Ms. Barnard set the mood with light music, dim lighting and a full compliment of KACC Cosmo students to tend to the needs of their guests. As pictures indicate, the staff sure enjoyed themselves.
Special thanks to Michelle Fitts for staying behind at the ROE for those couple of hours, to ensure any needs from area-wide schools could be addressed if need be.
Dr. Kay, Vicki and Greg sure seemed satisfied with their choice of celebration for Administrative Assistant Day 2009!
