Mayor Paul Schore shares his encouraging comments.

Mayor Paul Schore said he was delighted to welcome everyone to the Village of Bourbonnais, especially since many in the crowd came from a variety of the 16 high schools served by KACC from throughout Kankakee, Iroquois and Will counties.  Mayor Schore spoke about how our economy is no longer national, we are a part of a world economy and must be prepared.  Mayor Schore challenged the students to be prepared by continuing on in their education, whether it is a vocational school, two-year college, or 4 year university.

Dr. Kay Pangle stated she was delighted to come and watch students receive their awards.  Director Fay stated he was grateful for Dr. Pangle's presence and all her efforts on behalf of education in Kankakee and Iroquois County.

All in all, beginning the evening on such a positive note kicked off what was a fantastic event.  There were many awards presented during the evening, most of which will appear on this web site.
