SkillsUSA Engineering Technology Team
Skills TEAM takes 1st place at State and 4th in the Nation!

I would like to introduce you to the Engineering SkillsUSA team for 2008.
· Nick Meyer, senior from Beecher
· Nick Paetsch, senior from BBCHS
· Darren Price, senior from Iroquois West
These three students are making an electric car with an innovative battery pack to be used with a small wind recharging station. The team made connections with Dr. Merrill from Illinois State University and Mr. Parrott from the Illinois State Board of Education.
The trio is anxiously to start work on modifications for the National SkillsUSA Competition in late June. Wish them luck!
