KACC Honors One of Our Own!

Fond Farewell to Lee Roberson

Arbor Grove's clubhouse was the site of a celebration held on Wednesday, June 2nd in honor of KACC's Custodian, Mr. Lee Roberson. "Lee is an incredibly kind and generous person who will be greatly missed by the entire KACC family," stated Director Fay. (Just click on the picture of Lee Roberson to view more!)

Everyone who attended the end-of-year retirement party seemed to have a wonderful time together.  Principal Goodale remarked how "...lucky we are to have the people on our faculty and staff...there's not a bummer in the lot."  The rest of us, including this reporter, totally agree.

In the case of Lee Roberson, the feelings are only magnified.  Lee was a fine example for co-workers and students.  He always thought of others before himself, always did his utmost best in everything asked of him, and always had a warm smile to greet whoever came into his path.

KACC also extends thanks to Arbor Grove, (off of Almar Parkway in Bourbonnais) and Judy Krause for hosting our event.  The location, combined with great people, food and weather provided the perfect atmosphere for an enjoyable late afternoon in June!
