American Welding Society Awards District Scholarships!
Three students from my Welding Technology class have been awarded scholarships from the American Welding Society. The money awarded will be deposited in an account at Kankakee Community College and utilized for the students' tuition expenses.
As a professional welder and a teacher at both the Kankakee Area Career Center and Kankakee Community College, I am certain these three students, if they keep up the same level of work and dedication, will be very successful and happy in their welding careers.
