As the Principal of the Kankakee Area Career Center, nothing gives me more pleasure than to see our students recognized for their hard work, determination, character and skill sets.
On May 15th, Kankakee Community College graciously allowed our KACC students, their family along with our faculty and many dignitaries to gather together and present the awards and scholarships.
Instead of listing name after wonderful name of those honored, there is a PowerPoint below outlining the description and amount of the awards, including pictures of our students which you can review.
A whopping $11,350 in Scholarships and awards were presented that evening!
My thanks to our guest speakers, Director Fay, the KACC faculty, staff and students who gathered in celebration of our graduating class of 2012. All in all, I'm certain they will be very successful in their future endeavors.
