When it comes to having a wide-range of experience and training – Cheryl Kucer is your woman!
From being Commissioned in 1987 by President Reagan as an Officer in the United States Army Nurse Corps (currently in Inactive Ready Reserve), to her vast experience in multiple clinical and home healthcare settings, Cheryl Kucer has seen it all.
Since joining Team KACC in 2015, Ms. Kucer has generously shared her knowledge, experience and skills with KACC’s Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Training students. Whether in the classroom, lab or at the Manteno Veteran’s Home clinical site, Ms. Kucer gives students her full attention, doing her utmost to ensure each student is prepared for the IDPH State Certification exam.
Ms. Kucer graduated from Joliet Junior College with an Associate Degree in nursing. From there, she went on to Purdue University Calumet where she earned her Baccalaureate of Nursing Certificate as a Nurse Practitioner in 1987.
In her spare time, Ms. Kucer enjoys reading, sewing, photography and art, gardening and cooking. She is married and has two grown children, three adult grandchildren and two great grandchildren who are of preschool age.
