KACC Student Honored with National Technical Honor Society Scholarship
Congratulations Jacinda Garcia
Jacinda Garcia was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the National Technical Honor Society. Jacina is in her second year of Cosmetology studies here at the Career Center. She is an exemplary student who was recommended by her instructor, Gloria Hernandez. In addition to attending KACC, Jacinda Garcia is a member of BBCHS Class of 2019.
Jacinda Garcia was one of 250 outstanding NTHS members to receive a $1000 John H. Poteat Scholarship.

Cosmetology Department Chair, Tonya Born described Jacinda as a "Very good student, always willing to help out with whatever is asked of her. She demonstrates both good skill sets and rapport with clients in the Salon and is consistently at class, fulfilling her hours and theory work."
