Teresa and Derick Miller at the Mount of the Beatitudes, Northern Israel in Korazim Plateau

KACC and Teresa Miller teamed up back in June of 2003.  At that time, she reported to Tom Hahs who was Principal.  Since that time, Teresa has served KACC, its students and administrators very well.  She has worked under three Principals, two Directors and has learned multiple Student Information System Database programs and embraced new technology at every corner.

Ms. Miller, Administrative Assistant to Principal Guerin is incredibly knowledgeable and diverse in her skills sets and varied responsibilities at KACC.  She takes care of registrar duties, social media communication on Instagram, Student Information System, and internal professional education workshops.

Her communication skills greatly assist KACC and our 16 attending schools’ attendance, counseling staff and principals.  She is well like and respected by all.

The Millers in The Jezreel Valley, Israel

When Ms. Miller is not here at work, she enjoys hiking, spending time with family and beaches, of course.  She has three children and says she is “Privileged to serve alongside her husband” Senior Pastor of River Valley Christian Fellowship church, Derick Miller.  They were able to experience traveling in Israel last year.  First time for Ms. Miller, hopefully not the last.

The Millers have three children, two adult sons who are married and the youngest, their daughter, who is a freshman at BBCHS.  They are especially excited as they are awaiting the birth of their first grandchild.

Ms. Miller graduated from Southeastern Illinois College.  She says that growing up- near the Shawnee National Forest and coal-mining communities of southern Illinois created a better awareness and familiarity with the importance of Career and Technical Education.

She says she “..loves seeing students excel and succeed at KACC, not only in learning a skill, but also learning the soft skills and the importance of work ethic.

Ms. Miller is a true team player and great support to Mr. Guerin, faculty and students.
