Amy Gorecki Executive Assistant

Amy Gorecki, one of our newest members of #TeamKACC, is not only the Executive Assistant to Director Kelley, she is also KACC's Human Resource and Marketing Coordinator.  Thankfully, Amy has the experience, education and attitude to handle multiple balls in the air, be flexible and responsive to changes on the ground.  As we all know after a year of  COVID19, these particular skill sets are much sought after.  Mr. Kelley stated he is "delighted" to have an opportunity to work with Ms. Gorecki.  We all look forward to seeing her positive impact on KACC and our students.

Fun fact, when we met Ms. Gorecki for our first conversation, we were not yet in the position to bring her on board.  The entire administrative team quickly realized she was the perfect person to replace Ms. Argyelan and kept their eye on the prize.   Lo and behold, when the time did arrive, Ms. Gorecki said yes, and joined #TeamKACC.

Ms. Gorecki earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration-Marketing from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.  She has solid work experience in management, sales and marketing.  Her most recent position  was with Riverside Senior Life in Kankakee, where she served in community relations.  Anyone who worked with her, raves about her. Recognition of her professional experience earned her one of Kankakee County's 40 under 40 in 2018.  She was also honored in 2020 as Kankakee County Woman in Business.

On a personal level, Ms. Gorecki says she has "a huge passion" for giving back to our communities.  She has been a Make a Wish Granter for over ten years.

When Ms. Gorecki isn't working or volunteering, she is a busy mother of two young daughters, Brynlee and Blakelyn.  She and her husband,Ryan, not only love their girls, they love to travel and inspire others to make an impact on those around them.

Ms. Gorecki says she is "very excited to join #TeamKACC and working to make a positive impact on the Career Center and the many students we serve."

Welcome Amy Gorecki - glad you jumped on board.
