First Quarter Wrap Up - Congratulations Students!

Hard to believe the first quarter of the school year has already come and gone.  We have a really great group of smart and talented students here at KACC.  They have made a definite impact on me having a terrific start to my first year as KACC Principal.  If you follow us on social media, you already know about the many, many positive activities constantly going on throughout the building and beyond into the community with field trips, demonstrations, speakers.  If you haven't followed us on social media - please do - I think you will be pleasantly amazed and enjoy keeping up to date with our students and the exceptional curriculum our instructors provide..

Here at the Career Center, we do make an extra effort to highlight students from each and every subject area - One way we do is known around KACC as Students of the Quarter.  These students, who are chosen by their instructors, have demonstrated a consistently high level of academic and technical achievement in addition to developing their soft skills such as attitude, attendance, ability to work well with others, problem solving, etc.  Who are these students?

As they say in the Oscars, "The Envelope Please" which in this case, means, click on the link below to view the names, schools and photos of the Students of the Quarter.

Students of the First Quarter

Each student was presented with a Certificate of Achievement awarded a $5 gift certificate.

These students are now eligible to compete for the honor of Student of the Year and possibly receive a $1,000  scholarship if he or she is chosen as KACC's overall Student of the Year this coming May.

Congratulations to all! and keep up the great work!
