Kankakee Area Career Center was once again the benefactor of the generosity of others.  This time it was our own United States Air Force.

Here at KACC, Technical Sergeant William Chavanu is certainly no stranger.  He has visited KACC during Military Day, Emerging Workforce and other special events.

TSgt Chavanu gave us a little update on a couple of KACC alumni and how they are doing as active members of the Air Force. According to him, they are doing extremely well.

The purpose of today's visit was to deliver an incredible tool storage unit.  This heavy-duty mobile tool cart is going to be a fantastic addition to our auto technology shop area, not to mention, a good experience for students to learn how to properly organize and store professional tools and supplies.

US Air Force is another example of how relationships between the Career Center and our professional community are so important.  The support of our community is integral to KACC fulfilling our motto Preparing Students for Tomorrow.
