Launch the media gallery 1 playerMr. Ed Leeson, Fire-Rescue-EMR Instructor, always encourages his students to come back to KACC and visit with him and his current students.
Mr. Leeson says it's very "encouraging to students to hear of the progress our former students have made in their chosen profession." This past Monday, Austin Morse and Drew Walters did just that.
Austin graduated KACC and Grant Park High School two years ago. He has already become a current, paid-on-call Firefighter/EMT with the Grant Park Fire Protection District.
Drew, graduated KACC and Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School three years ago. He is member of the Limestone Fire Protection District.
Both these fine gentlemen related to students how the training they received at KACC made it easier to complete their Fire Academy and EMS training in order to obtain the certifications and licenses needed to serve in a fire department.
