Cosmetology Summer Session Information

KACC Junior and Senior students who will be attending Cosmetology Summer School  will need to be sure to register to attend. Summer Session runs from the beginning of the first week of June through the first part of July.  Exact dates will be announced shortly.

Registrations will be accepted beginning February 1st.  The Summer Session allows students to really amp-up on developing a variety of skills involving manicures, pedicures, facials as well as hair cuts, color, perms and chemical straightening. This is the only time this curriculum is taught.

Illinois Department of Professional Regulation mandates each student recieve 1,500 hours of training prior to taking a licensure exam. These these few weeks are crucial to meeting this requirement.

Now is a great time to start lining up clients to schedule summer appointments too! The more training, experience and clientele you develop, the more fun and success you will have over the summer. 

Don't wait until the last minute!  Sign up for summer session as soon as the registrations open!

Payment Information:  Tuition and kit fees must be paid on or before May 15th.  KACC is happy to accept partial payments starting now, as long as the total is paid by the 15th of May.  Mastercard^TM and VISA^TM are also accepted.

First-Year Students:      Summer Tuition:   $300           Kit Fee :  $200**

Second-Year Students: Summer Tuition:  $300            Kit Fee:  No Kit Fee Required
