Law Enforcement Community - Thank you!

Law Enforcement Scholarship Program Continues

All of us at KACC, especially our Law Enforcement Program, are incredibly grateful to many local police departments and Fraternal Orders of Police for once again supporting our annual Law Enforcement Scholarship Program.

This program, originally instituted seven years ago, has aided many KACC Law Enforcement Students to pursue their post-secondary education.  Our KACC Alumni are scattered throughout police departments and security companies throughout the local community, State and Country.

Scholarship funds are often in memory of a fallen police officer.  Scholarships were received from:

  • Kankakee City Police FOP Lodge 102, in memory of Anthony Samfay and Michael Lindgren.
  • Bourbonnais Police Department - in memory of Justin Honeycutt
  • Kankakee Sheriff's Department
  • Bradley Police Department
  • Kankakee Metropolitan Enforcement Group
  • Manteno Police Department
  • Justin Honeycutt Family Scholarship - in memory of Justin Honeycutt

On behalf of all the current and former KACC Law Enforcement Students you have assisted in gaining a bright future, thank you!  As always, we thank you for your service.

Stay Safe and Be Well.
